Are You Having Trouble Sleeping?

Here I am again…

This morning at 4 o’clock I’m up and that lyric, “here I am again” is running through my head.

Why? It’s those lovely hot flash / night sweats visiting me again. It’s tough to sleep when your inner thermostat is on the “fritz”.

Too hot / too cold. Arrrrgggg! The funny thing is I’ve licked this challenge before. How? Diet… Exercise… You know, the basics!

What’s different? Need you ask… What’s today’s date? Right… The Holidays!

Eating right is a challenge this time of the year. So a little reminder:
5 small meals. A little high quality protein in each meal and stay hydrated! Remember, with every hot flash, you’re losing water.

So now I’m headed to take my own advice. Good luck sleeping…
